Here are some reading suggestions offered up by the speakers at SVC’s free workshop bearing the same name as this web site. If you have some titles you’d like to add, please send them our way.

Comment by Danica April 7, 2008 @ 1:46 amAn interesting take on the subject and a great collaborative discussion on a variety of views.
Small is beautiful is a fantastic book which everyone on this planet needs to read urgently, whether they are designers or not. It should be a text book in schools everywhere. No logo is also brilliant and a real eye-opener. Every designer should read No Logo, otherwise we continue living in a glass bubble, which is proving very dangerous for the planet.
This is a super blog. I hope design schools all over the world know about it. Keep it up. I think you guys have really addressed the need of the hour, and given numerous useful suggestions on how we can make a difference.
